Whether a bulb burnt out or you went a different direction with your lights this year, we don't want to see those lights in your recycling cart. The strands and bulbs can cause problems for the sorting equipment at Metro Recycling Facility!
Instead, holiday lights can be thrown away in your garbage or they can be taken to Metro Hazardous Waste Drop-Off in Bondurant, to be recycled. If they still work, consider donating them instead!
