- Pull the packing material: While cardboard is highly encouraged in your Curb It! cart, the packing materials like Styrofoam, peanuts, and plastic aren’t recyclable. Be sure to pull all the packing materials out of your box before you toss it in the cart!

Break it down: Breaking down your cardboard boxes is a great way to save some space in your cart! If the box is still too big to fit, consider cutting it down.
Still Can't Make it Fit?
When the cardboard is just too bulky, utilize one of our recycling drop-offs throughout the metro. They are free for all residents to use! Find a location near you.
