We’re always looking for ways to provide convenient, safe disposal options for residents in the metro. That’s why we’re excited to announce expanded hours at Metro Hazardous Waste Drop-Off in Bondurant!
What’s New?
Starting Tuesday, January 7, we’ve adjusted our hazardous waste acceptance hours to provide more flexibility and convenience for busy residents. The hours of the facility are now:
- Tuesday - Friday: 10 AM - 5 PM
- First and Third Saturdays: 8 AM - Noon
Whether it’s old paint, cleaning supplies, rechargeable batteries, or other household hazardous materials, these extended hours give you more opportunities to safely dispose of items that don’t belong in your regular garbage or recycling.
How to Prepare for Your Visit
Before you stop by, take a moment to review what qualifies as household hazardous waste. Common items include batteries, oil-based paints, and pesticides. For a full list, visit our Rates & Accepted Items.
