Do you have a young environmental enthusiast at home? Sign them up for our Recycling Rocks Summer Camp, which meets in the Education Center at our state-of-the-art Metro Recycling Facility in Grimes!
While there, campers will:
- Learn about recycling guidelines
- See first-hand what happens to their recyclables once they leave the curb
- Participate in fun games, crafts, and activities that are focused on recycling and other sustainable practices
2-day Camp
9 AM-3 PM
July 11-12
For children entering 1st or 2nd grade in the fall of 2024

4-day Camp

July 16-19
For children entering 3rd-5th grade in the fall of 2024
4-day camp is currently full for 2024.
